Yacht Klub Polski Lublin
Yacht Klub Polski Lublin is a sailing club in Lublin whose members are most often found at Zalew Zemborzycki, at the quay, on board yachts and in Juranda. The club organises cruises, regattas, training sessions, sailing courses and events for the regional sailing community. Each year it hosts the Grand Prix Yacht Klubu Polski Lublin – a series of four regatta events for sailors in several classes, including cabin yachts and Open. The Grand Prix aims to integrate the racing community, share racing experience and crown the champions of the reservoir in each class. With its annual race calendar and location on Zalew Zemborzycki, the club is a firm anchor of the sailing scene in Lublin.
History
Yacht Klub Polski Lublin is rooted at Zalew Zemborzycki in Lublin and meets there at the quay, on board yachts and in Juranda. The club sees itself primarily as a community of people and links club life with places where sailors regularly come together. Its programme includes cruises, regattas, training, sailing courses and events. A central element of club tradition is the annual Grand Prix Yacht Klubu Polski Lublin: a cycle of four regatta events aimed at integrating the racing community, exchanging experience and determining the champions of the reservoir in each class. For 2026 four rounds are scheduled, including a May opener, further races in June and September, and the final in October.
