History

Yacht Klub Polski is Poland's oldest sailing organisation with branches worldwide. The Białystok branch has existed since 1978 and has since trained hundreds of sailors who regularly take part in regattas as well as sea and inland cruises. For more than 45 years YKP Białystok has cultivated sailing tradition in Podlasie, earned distinctions and actively promoted sailing. The sea section organises annual sea and ocean cruises to ports on the Baltic, the North Sea, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. The club flies its pennant at home and abroad on numerous voyages and regattas and passes sailing knowledge from generation to generation. For the 100th anniversary of the YKP association, Yacht Klub Polski Białystok invited sailors to jubilee sea regattas in 2024. Today the non-profit association connects sailing enthusiasts from the Białystok region and welcomes new members to the crew.
