Yacht Club Politechniki Lubelskiej
Yacht Club Politechniki Lubelskiej (YCPL) is the official sailing club at Lublin University of Technology in Poland and continues the tradition of the university sailing club that has existed since 1978. The club regularly organises sea voyages on waters including the Baltic Sea, the North Sea, the Adriatic and the Aegean, as well as annual club cruises on the Masurian Lakes using its own cabin yachts and additional charter boats. Alongside cruising, YCPL offers sailing courses and training for beginners and more experienced sailors from age 16, as well as motorboat licence courses. Contact and club administration are available via the club website and the office in Lublin; the site also documents the club's 30th anniversary and current activities.
History
Yacht Club Politechniki Lubelskiej has existed since 5 December 1995 and continues the tradition and activity of the sailing club at Lublin University of Technology that has been in place since 1978. YCPL is an association entered in the court register of associations and has held legal personality since 3 June 1996. Its seat is at Politechnika Lubelska in Lublin, address Nadbystrzycka 44a/1007. Club life includes several sea voyages each year on waters including the Baltic Sea, the North Sea, the Adriatic and the Aegean, as well as traditional club cruises on the Masurian Lakes, where the club's own cabin yachts are supplemented by additional charter boats. The website has a dedicated section for the 30th anniversary and documents past and planned Masurian cruises as well as current course and club announcements.
