Yacht Club Bergline
Yacht Club Bergline is a sailing club in Wrocław that combines experience and passion for sailing. The club is based at ul. Osobowicka 70A and uses the Oder River and other regional waters for training and leisure sailing. Its programme includes Optimist dinghies, sailing day camps for children from the age of six, sailing camps for youths aged twelve to seventeen, and courses for the yacht sailing licence and the powerboat licence. The club also organises pontoon trips on the Oder and supervised youth activities focused on teamwork, responsibility and safety. Hands-on exam preparation and experienced instructors shape the offer for beginners and advanced sailors.
History
Yacht Club Bergline is a sports club in Wrocław dedicated to sailing and water-sports training. Its focus is passing on sailing knowledge and looking after children and young people. For years the club has organised sailing day camps in Wrocław for children from the age of six and sailing camps for youths aged twelve to seventeen, including beginners. Adult courses prepare for the yacht sailing licence and the powerboat licence; SRC courses, towing training and training trips are also offered. The wider programme includes pontoon trips on the Oder. Training and camps take place among other places on the Oder; activities at Lake Sławskie are also mentioned. The club fleet and training operation include Optimist dinghies and further training boats.
