Vallensbæk Sejlklub

Vallensbæk Sejlklub is an active Danish sailing club in Vallensbæk near Copenhagen and presents itself under the motto “Den aktive klub”. Vallensbæk Sejlklub (VSK) is the official sailing-club website at vallensbaek-sejlklub.dk and presents itself as “Den aktive klub”. In February 2014 the club introduced a new cruising committee and worked on an information platform for cruising on the club website. In January 2014 the club offered a talk/course on canal and river sailing on European waterways. Club work includes regularly documented board meetings and the ordinary general assembly; in March 2026 the general assembly was held, followed by further board meetings in April and June 2026. Club life includes the annual season opening with standerskifte and the chairman’s speech, Tuesday racing from May, social formats such as the Friday bar and the roast-pork sailors’ trip, and seasonal festivals such as Sankt Hans. In May 2026 the club made Per “Amok” Nielsen an honorary member.
