Union Yacht Club Traunsee
Union Yacht Club Traunsee (UYCT) in Gmunden on Lake Traunsee is a sailing club in Upper Austria with club grounds on the Esplanade. The club provides news, sailing area information, regatta calendars, regatta results and photos. It is a member of ASVÖ Upper Austria and the Austrian Sailing Federation (OeSV). The Traunsee sailing area is known for thermal upper and lower winds and is used by numerous boat classes.

Clubhouse on the Esplanade with secretariat on the 1st floor, restaurant and Club 1888 bar with lakeside terrace, pontoons, crane, Wi-Fi on club grounds, dinghy meadow, showers and toilets, plus a club camera with changing viewing angle from 05:00 to 20:00.

Regatta sailing, youth training, youth week, Traunsee Week, match racing, international championships such as the ZOOM8 European Championship, social events, club buffet and newsletter for members.
Youth section
Working with youth members is a major priority for Union Yacht Club Traunsee. Regular youth training on and off the water during the summer months teaches young sailors how to handle their boats. After completing primary school, sailors typically start in the Optimist class; depending on age and interest, Zoom8, Laser Radial, 29er or 420er may follow. UYCT promotes regatta sailing and hosts an annual youth week, summer training during the holidays and youth regattas. Through cooperation among Traunsee sailing clubs, youth members can train in the Traunsail team and receive support at regattas.
