Tyresö Båtklubb
Tyresö Båtklubb is a non-profit boat and sailing club in Tyresö near Stockholm and was founded in 1963. The club has jetty facilities where around 220 boats moor in summer, forming the heart of club life. The programme suits all ages and includes Wednesday sailing, evening sailing for children and youth, and theme evenings. Among larger events is Ornö Runt at Whitsun, underlining the club's sporting character. History
Tyresö Båtklubb was founded in 1963 as a non-profit association and has since grown into one of the larger boat clubs in Tyresö. Today the club has just over 630 members. In summer around 220 boats lie at the club's own jetties. The club is very active and offers programmes for all age groups, including regular Wednesday sailing, evening sailing for children and youth, and theme evenings. A major event in the club calendar is Ornö Runt during the Whitsun weekend. Those interested can apply for membership via the club website.
