The Yachtclub des Eisenbahnersports Weiden am See (YES) is the official sailing club at the lakeside baths of Weiden am See on Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland, Austria. The club operates a clubhouse, a harbour with wet and dry berths and its own crane facility, and publishes harbour images via the club webcam. Youth sailing with Optimist, ILCA and 470, club regattas, Korsar races and participation in the Austrian sailing league with the women's team shape the sporting programme. Traditional club festivals, boat measurement days and seminars for race officials complement club life on Lake Neusiedl.
History
The Yachtclub des Eisenbahnersports Weiden am See (YES-Weiden, ZVR 006058532) is a sailing club at the lakeside baths of Weiden am See on Lake Neusiedl and belongs to the umbrella association of Austrian railway sports clubs. The club website serves communication with members and friends and documents club life across many yearly archives, from regattas and harbour operations to club festivals. Sportingly, YES regularly hosts club regattas, youth sailing, the YES Cup and Korsar races and was host of the Korsar Austrian Championship. The women's team competes in the Austrian sailing league and the women's league, achieving among other results a fifth place in the women's league and fourth place at the S-Cup in Punat. Infrastructure includes a clubhouse, harbour with wet and dry berths, a crane community and a harbour webcam. In 2026 the club celebrated boat christening and the 50th anniversary of Caprece II; boat measurement days, seminars for race officials and traditional summer festivals remain fixtures of club life.
