Segelclub Neuhaus Interlaken (SCNI)
Segelclub Neuhaus Interlaken (SCNI) is a Swiss sailing club on Lake Thun near Interlaken, founded on 29 April 1972. The club base sits directly on the lake next to Hotel Neuhaus and includes a maritime clubhouse, a small harbour, a dry storage area and launching ramps. Club-owned boats such as Optimist, Teeny, 420er, ILCA 4, ILCA 6 and Laser Bahia are available for juniors and members; training is supervised by J+S coaches. The club targets youth and recreational sailors of all ages with club events, taster sailing and regional as well as international regattas. A distinctive feature is the close cooperation with Segelschule Neuhaus-Thunersee and membership of Swiss Sailing and the TBSV.
History
Segelclub Neuhaus Interlaken (SCNI) was founded on 29 April 1972. Its primary aim is to promote the sport of sailing. This mission ranges from training young sailors and fostering sailing as a popular sport through to organising regional and international regattas. The club does not pursue a particular membership or class policy and welcomes everyone who enjoys sailing. The SCNI base is located directly on Lake Thun near Interlaken, immediately next to the well-known Hotel Neuhaus. A small harbour, a dry storage area for boats and launching ramps surround Neuhaus and the club premises. The maritime clubhouse invites members to gather when the wind is calm; the bar serves cool drinks for club members, and the Neuhaus bathing meadow is right next door. Juniors receive regular training with club-owned boats under experienced J+S coaches. Club-owned boats may be used by all members according to the club regulations. SCNI works closely with Segelschule Neuhaus-Thunersee; members enjoy exclusive discounts on courses and boat hire. As a member of Swiss Sailing, SCNI and its members are subject to the Ethics Charter, Ethics Statute and Anti-Doping Statute of Swiss Olympic. The club is also active within the TBSV and organises events such as the season opening, a summer event with matinée and summer regattas, and the autumn regatta. Club juniors also compete internationally, for example at Optimist World Championships.

Active junior section with regular training on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, taster sailing on Saturdays, supervision by J+S coaches and club-owned boats (Optimist, Teeny, ILCA, Laser Bahia). Junior head: Reto Lombardini.
