Segelclub Landsberg a.Lech e.V.
Segelclub Landsberg a. Lech e.V. (SCLL) is a traditional sailing club on the southwestern shore of Lake Ammersee in St. Alban near Dießen. The club offers a clubhouse with kitchen, sun terrace, sanitary facilities and cellar storage as well as its own jetty with 34 berths, six mooring places and additional shore spaces for youth boats. Facilities also include club sailing boats, motorboats for training and race support, and winter storage halls. Mixed-class youth training covers Optimist, 420 and Laser; club races, season opening and closing events shape the club year. SCLL is especially known for the Ammersee 24-hour regatta held since 1975, one of the major sailing events on the lake.
History
In 1971 the club was registered at the Landsberg court around Helmut Piecha and other dedicated sailors. After two years of approvals, the club jetty in St. Alban was inaugurated in 1973; the club already had more than 100 members with 48 boats. Under Helmut Piecha (commodore 1971–1980) came the purchase of a national cruiser “Wappen von Landsberg” and, in 1975, the first 24-hour regatta. Max Pietch (1980–1992) arranged motorboat acquisitions. Under Horst Krah (1992–2004) the winter storage hall in Landsberg (1992), the clubhouse in Dießen/St. Alban (1999), jetty renovation with lighting and several motorboats followed; in 2004 the winter-hall plot was purchased. Rudolph Kugelmann led as commodore 2005–2007 and then as vice-commodore until 2019. Bernd Müller-Hahl (2007–2022) built the second winter hall, renovated jetty and ramp, expanded the youth fleet of Optimists and 420s, and ran youth weeks, training days, offshore youth trips and sailing-licence courses; in 2019 “Graf Rasso” replaced motorboat “Moby Dick”. Since 2022 Richard Zobel has been commodore. Today the club has 142 full members and 23 youth members and continues the legendary Ammersee 24-hour regatta, celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026.

Youth section
Active youth section with mixed-class training in Optimist, 420 and Laser, six youth coaches, a youth fleet, youth weekends and youth cruises; membership up to age 18 at preferential rates also without parents.
Boating license training
