History
RSC Losheim e.V. is entered in the register of associations under number 398 and is based at the Losheim reservoir. Over the years the club has expanded its facilities: in 2017 the new jetty grew, the fender strip on the pier was completed and a damaged side pier was restored by members; the municipality also reinstalled the barrier to the boat berths. That same year the 17th Hochwald Micro Cup counted towards the German Micro ranking, and Oliver Becker became RSC club champion. In 2020 the club hosted the Saarland championship of the Opti B class in Losheim. In 2022 RSC Losheim welcomed the 470 class again after 23 years and, together with the LVSS and the class association, staged ranking races, Masters Cup and Saarland championship at the reservoir; Guido and Carolin Becker won the overall. Active club sailors regularly compete in Korsar, Micro, Laser and 470 regattas at home and abroad. For 2026 the club plans among other events the Opti Lily of the Valley Regatta, the club championship and dates for Micro and Open 5.
