History
Rørvig Sejlklub – RØS for short – was founded in 1965 and has its clubhouse at Rørvig Harbour. The club is a member of Dansk Sejlunion (DS) and thus linked to Danmarks Idræts-Forbund (DIF). Over the decades RØS grew into a club for dinghy sailing, kayaking and windsurfing with theoretical and practical training, smaller regattas and social activities. In 2025 the club marked its 60th anniversary; films about club activities and adult training were published. Today the community comprises around 400 members in about 15 teams, with a sailing school for beginners, training for more advanced sailors, local regattas, harbour parties and work days. Team, membership and activity administration runs via Holdsport; volunteers and instructors shape everyday life on the Isefjord.
