Rosenholm Bådelaug
Rosenholm Bådelaug is the official association on the beach grounds near Rønde in Syddjurs Municipality and was founded in 1983 when the association obtained the right to use the beach area. Its purpose is to keep the beach an attractive place for small-boat owners and beach visitors. The association owns the bathing pier, which is taken in during the winter half-year, and maintains moorings, lawns, tables, benches, a grill and a fire pit. Members can moor at buoy moorings in summer, store boats on beams in winter and use the tiled slipway for small boats. The municipality handles toilets and parking; the association also cooperates with Rodskov Havkajakklub and hosts communal meals as well as the annual general meeting.
History
Rosenholm Bådelaug was founded in 1983 when the association obtained the right to use the beach grounds. Since then it has maintained the area as a meeting place for small-boat owners and beach guests. The bathing pier belongs to the Bådelaug and is taken in during the winter half-year; heavy equipment is used for this, as older photos of the former pier also show. The association mows the lawn, maintains boat berths and provides tables, benches, grill, fire pit and windbreaks. There is cooperation with Syddjurs Municipality on toilets and parking, and with Rodskov Havkajakklub. In November 2023 Mayor Michael Stegger Jensen of Syddjurs Municipality visited; then Formand Jens Jensen reported on the association's activities. The gallery archive includes photos from 2019 to 2025, including pier retrieval and communal meals. For 2026 communal beach meals and pier retrieval followed by the general meeting at the campsite are planned. Today the Bådelaug offers summer moorings at buoys, winter storage on beams, a slipway and joint beach care.
