The club runs a clubhouse that is regularly maintained and renovated and offers members and guests an active club life on the water. A distinctive feature is the close link to harbour life in Kragenæs with clear harbour rules and an active board with specialist committees.
History
Kragenæs Sejlklub appears on its club website as an active sailing club at Kragenæs Harbour on Lolland. Publicly documented is mainly recent club life: board and committees, membership fees, the sailing school, and regular activities and regattas. For the harbour area an order regulation from 2011 applies, described together with other regional harbours (including Femø, Dybvig, Vesterby and Askø) and confirmed by the Danish Coastal Authority in 2012; the document shows an update dated 15 January 2015. Daily club life emphasises clubhouse care and maintenance: work days have included paving, window cleaning, painting and the start of kitchen and wall renovations. Sportingly the club organises racing events such as Øerne Rundt (moved to 30 May 2026) and community evenings with barbecue and Sankt Hans together with the residents’ association. The sailing school led by instructor Erik Jakobsen teaches practical sailing in Kragenæs. Sponsor notes mention Skovridergaarden in Nakskov and P Hatten. A detailed founding history with early years is not published on the evaluated pages.
