History
KOJK was founded in 1973 by K. A. Norman and has trained sailors and leaders ever since. Activity today covers beginner, intermediate and racing levels; Optimist and Laser sailors from the club have competed up to Nordic Championships and in some cases at the Optimist World Championship. Since 2019 the club has been a member of the Swedish Ice Sailing Federation (SISF). The clubhouse is at Pepparkaksudden. In summer KOJK runs sailing camps for members and interested youths; in winter it offers ice sailing plus social meetings, training and theoretical courses. Other members enjoy family and try-out sails as well as courses on racing rules, boat care, officiating and general sailing knowledge.
