Gandsfjord Seilforening
Gandsfjord Seilforening is an active sailing club in Stavanger affiliated with Rogaland Seilkrets and Norges Seilforbund. As one of the most active regatta organisers in Rogaland, the club arranges popular Wednesday regattas in the Stavanger area, among other events. Since the club does not operate its own marina, it concentrates its resources on running regatta series such as Vårserien, Høstserien, Shorthanded Weekend and Høstskvulp. The club house is located at Jåttåvågen båthavn, and members also enjoy free access to club facilities at Hinna Park for crew parties and other gatherings. Two membership types are available: full membership for boat owners at 500 NOK per year, and regatta crew and supporting membership at 250 NOK per year, with no work-duty obligation.
