CYVGL
CYVGL is a French sailing club established as an association under the 1901 Act and affiliated with the Fédération Française de Voile. The club is located on the Grand Large water body in Décines near Lyon and promotes sailing for both leisure and racing sailors. Facilities include dinghy and cruiser parking, changing rooms, a mooring area with 50 berths, a clubhouse seating up to 50 people, and a crane with a 1,300 kg lifting capacity. The programme features club regattas such as Open de la soie and La Grande Ecoute, a dinghy sports school led by a volunteer coach, and a para-sailing section with adapted boats. Members sail on the inland water and compete in national and international events including the Bol d'Or and French championships.
History
CYVGL is an Association loi 1901 affiliated with the Fédération Française de Voile. The club's purpose is to promote and develop sailing on the Grand Large water body in Décines near Lyon. The base expressly describes itself as friendly, sociable, sporting and family-oriented. The general base regulations were approved by the general assembly on 19 January 2019 and amended at the general assembly on 17 January 2026. Today the club offers cruiser moorings, dinghy parking, changing rooms, a clubhouse and a crane, and organises its own regattas as well as a para-sailing section in partnership with associated federations.
