Berliner Tourenseglerclub Blau-Weiß e.V.
Berliner Tourenseglerclub Blau-Weiß e.V. (BTB) is a sailing club in Berlin-Köpenick on the Dahme sailing area, with berths at Grünauer Straße 211. The club has a clubhouse, mess hall, boathouse, hall with crane and pier facilities, and regularly organises work parties as well as launching and hauling out. Juniors from age eight receive sailing training on club-owned Optimists and Lasers, including a free four-week trial session on Wednesdays from 16:00. Adults and juniors compete in the Wednesday regatta series, the Burkhard-Andersch memorial regatta and other regional races. Club history goes back to the founding of BSG Lokomotive Osthafen in 1951; since 1991 the club has been registered as BTB e.V. in the Charlottenburg register of associations.
History
On 12 July 1951 the works sports community Lokomotive Osthafen was founded. On 5 November 1952 BSG Lok. Osthafen concluded a usage agreement for the boathouse with the Berlin waterways authority. On 18 March 1958 BSG Lok. Osthafen and BSG Lok. Zentrum decided to merge into BSG Berliner Transportbetriebe Zentrum (BTB-Z) with the club colours blue and white; on 26 April 1958 BSG BTB-Zentrum was founded under BSG leader Ernst Murawski. After the political transition, BSG BTB-Z / sailing section applied on 22 May 1990 for registration as sailing club BTB e.V. at the Berlin Mitte district court. On 22 June 1990 Berliner Tourenseglerclub Blau-Weiß e.V. received registration certificate no. 471; on 19 August 1990 the spin-off agreement with BSG BTB-Zentrum followed. On 9 April 1991 re-registration was applied for at the Charlottenburg local court, and on 13 June 1991 the club was entered in the register of associations under VR 10924 Nz. The club is listed with the German Sailing Federation and Berlin Sailing Federation under number B 121 and still sails on the Dahme.

Youth section
Active youth section in Köpenick for children from age 8 with sailing training on club-owned Optimists and Lasers, a free four-week trial on Wednesdays from 16:00, and participation in pupil races, Jugendmaster-Cup and training camps.
