Nørresundby Sejlklub
Nørresundby Sejlklub (NSS) is the official sailing-club website of a club on the Limfjord in Nørresundby, right by the Limfjord Bridge opposite Aalborg. The harbour offers berths in three areas – Bassin Øst for boats under 9 metres, Bassin Vest for boats up to 15 metres, and Ydermolen alongside for vessels over 15 metres – with water depths from 1 to 6 metres. Facilities include a clubhouse with kitchen, toilets and showers, Wi-Fi, a large barbecue terrace, slipway, mast crane, and power and water on the pontoons; shore power and clubhouse access run via the Beas app. Guests use the Danish frihavn scheme and paid guest berths; members park with a COPARK permit and use winter storage at Spisegade 45. The programme includes Friday bars, a summer party, shared boat haul-outs, season closing and celebrations around the Tall Ship Race in Aalborg; a children's activities committee and an elected board run club life.
History
Nørresundby Sejlklub (NSS) operates the club and guest marina on the Limfjord in Nørresundby and takes part in the Danish frihavn scheme. The club settles with ANF: if membership continues, the club pays berth rent and dues for members to ANF. The board with chair, vice-chair, treasurer, secretary, materials officer, boat inspectors for land and water berths and a web officer runs day-to-day affairs; members may use the first 15 minutes of board meetings for questions. A harbour extension with final installations is underway, so craftsmen are present on site. With board approval members may live aboard seasonally (permit from 1 October to 30 September) if a separate electricity meter is fitted and clubhouse rules are followed. Shore power and clubhouse access use the Beas app with service codes; parking is managed via COPARK, and winter storage is at Spisegade 45, 9400 Nørresundby. Optional collective liability insurance is available through Danske Tursejlere; otherwise a private policy must be sent to the treasurer. Club life covers Friday bars, summer party, autumn haul-outs, winter tidy-ups, Christmas decorating and Tall Ship Race events in Aalborg.
