NSK Jolleafdeling
NSK Jolleafdeling is the dinghy section of Næstved Sejlklub and welcomes children, teenagers and adults who want to experience sailing at the harbour in Næstved. The club offers Optimist dinghy training for beginners, Feva dinghies as the next step, and windsurfing for teenagers and adults, plus the option to store private dinghies on site. Training takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 16:45 to 19:30 in the season from April to October, with trial sessions, a safety coach boat and VHF contact. The programme targets beginners and more experienced sailors of all ages and includes racing events, social gatherings at the harbour and coaching by several instructors. A distinctive feature is the clear progression from Optimist via Feva to windsurfing in a safe, community-oriented harbour setting.
History
NSK Jolleafdeling presents itself as the dinghy section of Næstved Sejlklub and as a sailing club for children, young people and adults who want to enjoy sailing. The stated aim is to create a safe and inspiring environment where everyone, regardless of experience, can learn to sail, improve skills and become part of an active community on the water. The offer includes training for beginners and more advanced sailors, sailing Optimist and Feva as well as windsurfing, social events and community life at the harbour, and participation in races and events. Training routines firmly include a skippers' room, wetsuit hire, a coach boat with VHF radio and shared boat work before and after sessions. Members can also store private sailing dinghies on site and sail flexibly on their own schedule. The section actively promotes trial sessions and seasonal training from April to October.
