Juniors and adults can train at various levels, and the club organises and takes part in regional Castilla-La Mancha regattas, including windsurf and sailing events. History
Centro Náutico Serranillos / Club Náutico Serranillos runs water sports at the Cazalegas reservoir in the Serranillos Playa urbanisation. The club has partnership agreements with the University of Castilla-La Mancha to host its water-sports school, and with Decathlon for courses and group activities. At Cazalegas the club organised the inland-waters Formula Windsurfing cup (28–29 September, reported in 2015) with about thirty competitors from various regions and seven scoring races; an OPEN series was won by César Luaces of Centro Náutico Serranillos. In May 2017 the windsurf project “Castilla La Mancha a toda Vela” of the Castilla-La Mancha Sailing Federation was presented at the centre’s facilities, aiming to give children and teenagers aged 8–16 easier access to windsurfing; club athletes such as Víctor Lorenzo showed interest. In 2019 Víctor Lorenzo of Club Náutico Serranillos won the first race of the regional junior windsurf championship of Castilla-La Mancha; the second race, the I Copa Nubbitel de Windsurf, was to be held in October at Cazalegas under the club’s organisation. During the 2020 COVID-19 season the centre opened only for members; rental and courses were suspended. Members have access to the facilities, equipment use by reservation and equipment storage.
