History

Since 3 December 1967, MSC Bielefeld has been a home for everyone who shares a passion for boating, with its home harbour on scenic Lake Doktorsee in Rinteln. What began with a handful of idealistic boating enthusiasts is today a lively motorboat club with heart and history. For more than 55 years the club has been firmly anchored at the western entrance of Lake Doktorsee, directly on the Weser. Members have made themselves comfortable in the third and newest clubhouse. The clubhouse is not only a place to relax after a long day on the water but also the heart of club life: with a small but well-equipped kitchen, its own portable toilets and plenty of space for social gatherings. Whether grilling, listening to music or enjoying conversations – young and old come together here. Because seasonal guest berth holders also feel at home, the small harbour is always filled with friendly company. Whether on shared outings or cosy evenings at the harbour – social togetherness is just as important here as watersports. The club is registered in the register of associations at the Bielefeld district court under number VR 1520.
