History
Watersportvereniging IJzeren Man has its home harbour on Lake De IJzeren Man in Vught. The harbour is owned by the municipality of Vught; operational tasks lie with Stichting Omnisportaccomodaties IJzeren Man, while WIJM uses and manages the harbour. The club maintains a long racing tradition: the Oude Zakken Race was held as its 54th edition in 2024 and ranks among the special annual events alongside the Sunday races. Results and annual champions (Jaarkampioenen) are documented on the club website at least back to 2002. Since March 2024 the board has consisted of five members. Youth development with beginners and advanced training and club competitions continue to shape club life today.
