Since 2018 the club has organised international regattas in Ustka including European and Polish championships and was named Pomeranian sailing club of the year in 2023.
History
Klub Żeglarski ProSport has shared a passion for sailing since 2016 and trains children and young people. From 2017 the club has delivered sailing projects co-funded by municipalities and organisations; partners include Gmina Miasto Ustka, Miasto Słupsk and Gmina Kobylnica, and at times Kępice and Miastko. Since 2018 it has organised international regattas in Ustka — one of Poland’s largest sailing events — with Polish championships, the Puchar Polski and European championships. In 2022–2023 more than 120 children took part in maritime and sailing education programmes for Ustka, Gmina Ustka and Gmina Miastko; sailing camps host over 200 participants each summer. In 2023 the club hosted the Junior and Masters European Championship in the Europe class and was named Pomorski Żeglarski Klub Roku by the Pomorski Związek Żeglarski, also winning Pomeranian sailing event of the year. In 2025 Ustka hosted the Hobie Cat European Championship and again received the Pomeranian sailing event of the year award. The website cites about ten years of experience, over 47 completed projects and more than 240 participants per year. Day camps formerly ran in Port Ustka and moved to the Lake Jasień centre because of harbour redevelopment.
