Porin Pursiseura
Porin Pursiseura is a traditional Finnish sailing club in Pori, founded in 1905 and more than 120 years old. The club is based at Hyrskyniemi with a pier and pavilion at Hyrskyniementie 137. Members use berths, on-site boat inspection and a year-round programme with flag raising, cruising, club races and social events. The club runs a season-long cruising competition and also organises fishing and ice-fishing contests alongside sailing dates. Club facilities were modernised at the pavilion in 2024; in 2025 the tower window renovation received EU and Leader funding.
