Segelclub Thaling

Segelclub Thaling is a small leisure sailing club on the Enns reservoir in the backwater area of the Thurnsdorf dam near Kronstorf in Upper Austria. The club has existed since 1979 and currently has 14 full members as well as further guest and supporting members. Club life includes learning to sail, technical discussion, sporting dinghy and catamaran sailing, cruising, racing and a sociable club atmosphere. The gallery documents among other things summer impressions of children's and youth sailing. The fleet includes a Finn-Dinghy as well as further privately owned member boats.

History

Segelclub Thaling has existed since 1979 and, under the motto SC-THALING, sees itself as a club for sailing as leisure. The location is on the Enns reservoir in the backwater area of the Thurnsdorf dam near Kronstorf in Upper Austria. Over the years a small, active club life has developed that combines learning to sail, technical discussion, sporting dinghy and catamaran sailing, cruising, racing and sociable club activities. The current membership comprises 14 full members, one guest member and seven supporting members. The photo gallery documents among other things aerial views of the Thurnsdorf backwater from 2013, winter sailing impressions from 2012/2013 and summer images of children's and youth sailing. The association is registered under ZVR number 871036618 and is represented by the chairman and deputy chairman.
