History

Segelclub Möve Tennwil (SCMT) promotes active sailing on Lake Hallwil and operates a sailing jetty at the Arbeiterstrandbad Tennwil Meisterschwanden. Junior development is a major concern; children and young people are introduced to Optimist, Europe and ILCA in Youth & Sport sailing courses. SCMT is a member of Swiss Sailing and the Central Switzerland regional association. Club life includes jetty operations, the annual general meeting, spring jetty preparation and autumn winterisation. The photo gallery documents club championships, Lake Hallwil championships and Blauband regattas over many years; the 2024 jetty inauguration is also recorded. Donations go entirely to the club and support junior work, jetty and equipment maintenance and club activities. Application forms for membership, boat berths and guest berths as well as jetty and motorboat regulations govern club operations.
