Segelclub Tribschenhorn
Segelclub Tribschenhorn is an active sailing club based at Tribschenhorn harbour in Lucerne, with Lake Lucerne as its home waters. The club offers a clubhouse as a meeting point, club-owned boats of the J/70, 420 and ILCA classes, and access to the pontoons operated by Bootshafen AG Luzern. Alongside social events such as the season opening and closing sails and Friday gatherings, regattas, the Swiss Sailing Challenge League and the JUGA youth section provide a broad programme for beginners and competitive sailors. Founded in 1978 and with around 280 members, SCT is affiliated with Swiss Sailing and Regional Association 4 Central Switzerland and promotes sailing across all age groups.
History
Segelclub Tribschenhorn was founded in 1978 by its founding members and has since been based at Tribschenhorn sailing harbour in Lucerne. As early as 1981 the youth section JUGA was established; it still offers multi-level sailing courses for children and young people and follows Swiss Youth and Sport guidelines. In 2016 SCT first entered the Swiss Sailing League and has since competed with a league team in the Challenge League. In 2019 the club celebrated its 40th anniversary with a birthday party in the clubhouse. Today the club has around 280 members, belongs to Swiss Sailing and Regional Association 4 Central Switzerland, and alongside racing also cultivates cruising, club events and the associated Shanty Crew Tribschenhorn Lucerne.

Clubhouse with roof terrace and ground floor, access to pontoons of Bootshafen AG Luzern, club-owned fleet with J/70, nine 420s, eight ILCAs and two motorboats, changing rooms and showers for members.
Activities
Club events such as season opening and closing sails, Friday gatherings and St Nicholas evening, regattas including Sie+Er and Pilatus Cup, participation in the VC Cup and Swiss Sailing Challenge League, cruising, JUGA training and boat hire for members.
Youth section
JUGA is the youth section of SCT in Lucerne with multi-level dinghy courses from age 10, Youth and Sport coaching, club-owned 420s and ILCAs plus sailing week, Saturday training and a racing group.
