Segelclub Altmünster (SCA) is an established sailing club on the eastern shore of Lake Traunsee in Upper Austria, based at Hauptstraße 5 in Altmünster. The club offers a clubhouse, club boats stored in the boat hall – including Optimists and Lasers – moorings and its own weather station with webcam. SCA regularly hosts national and international regattas such as Traunseewoche, FD focus regattas, Friday regattas and the Nebelwettfahrt; classes sailed include Flying Dutchman, Yngling, Surprise, Shark 24, Trias, H-Boot and Optimist. Youth work comprises summer training and an annual youth week led by youth officer Matthias Meiss. Active SCA sailors achieve success at national and world championships, for example in Yngling, Surprise and Soling.

Segelclub Altmünster (SCA) is an established sailing club on Lake Traunsee in Upper Austria, based at Hauptstraße 5 in Altmünster. In 2022 the club celebrated its 50th anniversary, indicating a founding around 1972. The association is registered under ZVR number 540728893 and maintains close links with other sailing clubs on Lake Traunsee – including ASKÖ Segeln Gmunden, Union Yachtclub Traunsee, Segelclub Traunkirchen and Segelclub Ebensee – as well as the Austrian and Upper Austrian sailing federations. Over the decades SCA has become a major venue for national and international regattas. The club regularly hosts Traunseewoche with Austrian championships in various classes, plus focus regattas such as the FD Schwerpunktregatta on Lake Traunsee. Other regular events include Friday regattas, midsummer regattas, the 6-hour regatta and the traditional Nebelwettfahrt, which counts towards the club championship. In recent years members have achieved numerous successes at national and international events, including in Surprise, Yngling, Flying Dutchman and Soling. Youth work with summer training and an annual youth week is a fixed part of club life. The clubhouse on Lake Traunsee is the centre of club activities for events, post-regatta gatherings and the member community. General assemblies have been documented since at least 2021, with the 54th general assembly held in 2026.
