History

Lövstavikens båtförening was founded in 1982 when members took over the harbour from the municipality. Since then the facility in Falkenberg on the west coast has developed into a fully equipped club harbour. Today the harbour comprises 260 berths and has more than 600 members. The infrastructure includes a pillar crane for launching larger boats, a slipway, boathouses and sea sheds as well as a clubhouse with shower and toilet. Fresh water and electricity are available on the pontoons; dedicated facilities exist for mast storage and environmental waste. Guest berths are marked in green and are also available at boom berths. Campervan guests may stay on marked spaces in front of the boathouses and are welcome year-round. The harbour office is open on weekdays at set times and handles matters such as berth administration.
