Östra Nylands Segelförening
Östra Nylands Segelförening is a traditional sailing club in Loviisa on Finland's south coast and ranks among the oldest sailing clubs in Finland. Founded in 1888, it is according to its own information the second-oldest association in the town of Loviisa. At Purjetie 21 the pavilion and beach sauna are available for use and for hire, and winter storage for club boats is provided on the shore. Junior dinghy sailing takes place in summer. History
Östra Nylands Segelförening was founded in 1888 and is among the oldest sailing clubs in Finland. The club also describes itself as the second-oldest association in the town of Loviisa (Lovisa). Its bilingual website (Finnish and Swedish) was relaunched on 23 January 2020 and has since brought together news, the season calendar and contact details. At the club grounds on Purjetie 21 / Segelvägen 21 in 07940 Loviisa, the pavilion and beach sauna are available and can be hired. Winter storage for club boats is organised on the shore, and junior dinghy sailing takes place in summer. The website communicates seasonal club work and dates, including cleaning bees, boat launching and boat inspections. The membership register and privacy notice dated 23 October 2019 name the chair of the board and the secretary as responsible for the membership register.
