Jeziorak Yacht Club
Jeziorak Yacht Club is a sailing club and training centre on Lake Jeziorak, Poland’s longest lake, based in Iława. The club runs a modern fleet of monotype N’FUN 30 yachts and operates from Port 110 with experienced PZŻ coaches. The programme ranges from the Żeglarz Jachtowy licence course and refresher training through a three-level race academy to the Polska Liga Sterników and corporate sailing events. A distinctive feature is the on-board coach Pro-Am concept: sailors can race without owning a yacht or bringing a fixed crew. Since 2012 the club has also organised corporate sailing events on Jeziorak and across Poland.
History
Jeziorak Yacht Club operates as a sailing club and training business on Lake Jeziorak in Iława and is registered as Jeziorak Yacht Club Sp. z o.o. at Obrońców Westerplatte 4/19. Since 2012 it has organised full-service corporate sailing events under the Sailing Event brand—from regattas and flotilla cruises to water-based teambuilding, including groups of up to around 400 people and as a partner for event agencies. At the core is Poland’s unique fleet of N’FUN 30 daysailers with Harken gear, used for training, racing and corporate events. From this grew a three-level pathway: Race Academy, Polska Liga Sterników (racing without own boat) and N’FUN 30 Grand Prix (Pro-Am with professionals). The race academy is led by experienced coaches including Karol Górski (European champion, Polish champion in Laser and Optimist, vice-champion of the Polska Liga Żeglarska) and other medallists. For 2025 the club announced a season premiere in Warsaw and plans a women’s racing team in the Polska Liga Sterników. Today it combines licence training, race coaching, day and multi-day cruises on Jeziorak and corporate events under one roof.
