Värmdö Jolleseglare
Värmdö Jolleseglare is a sailing club on Värmdö in the Stockholm archipelago focused on dinghy sailing and sailing school. Summer courses run as day camps in Mörtnäs; the club has about 20 boats and around 15 instructors. The programme includes Sjöpigge for ages 5–8, Optimist for ages 8–15, C55 for ages 9–18, and adult courses from beginner to advanced level. The aim is to give people near Värmdö confidence on the water and access to boating life, including navigation courses such as Förarintyg and Kustskeppare. Family sailing and try-sailing sessions complement the offer for families and newcomers.
History
Värmdö Jolleseglare runs sailing school and training on Värmdö for youth and adults. Activities are based in Mörtnäs and aim to make boating and sailing accessible for all ambition levels. Besides sailing school, the club uses training to develop leadership among young people. The work is supported by local partners including ICA Maxi Stormarknad in Mölnvik Värmdö, Bullandö Marina and Svenska Sjö.
