Hvitsten Seilforening

Hvitsten Seilforening is the official sailing club in the coastal village of Hvitsten on Norway's Oslofjord and offers dinghy sailing, board sailing and kayaking. The club is based at Sjøboden on Fjordveien 1 in 1545 Hvitsten and uses the pier for training, events and club life. With 300 members, children, youth and adults are welcome; the youngest groups mainly learn on Optimist dinghies, with paddling and SUP as options. The annual highlight is the Seilsamling, a multi-day sailing camp with club dinghies, kayaks and boards, open to beginners. The board sailing, sailing and kayak sections have separate contacts, and membership and registration run via the Norwegian sports federation NIF.
