Klub Żeglarski Lumel
Klub Żeglarski Lumel is a sailing club with its own marina on Lake Niesłysz in Niesulice in the Lubusz Voivodeship. The club base features three piers for private sailing boats, rental yachts, and pedal and rowing boats, located near the municipal beach and the Lago resort. The club runs a watercraft rental service, offers courses for the Polish yacht sailor certificate on Omega and Orion yachts, and maintains a weather station as well as a live camera. Each year the club organises spring and autumn regattas on Lake Niesłysz, including the Jerzy Kusz Regatta. Outside the summer season the club can be reached in Zielona Góra; during the season the marina in Niesulice is the main hub.
History
Klub Żeglarski Lumel operates its club facilities on Lake Niesłysz in Niesulice, near the municipal beach and the Lago resort. The grounds have three piers with clear roles: the western pier is for mooring private sailing boats, the middle pier parks rental sailing yachts, and the third pier is for pedal boats and rowing boats. Members use the marina as their starting point for sailing on Lake Niesłysz. The club runs a watercraft rental with kayaks, rowing boats, pedal boats, windsurf boards and sailing boats, and offers courses for the yacht sailor certificate on Omega and Orion yachts. It regularly organises spring and autumn class-scored regattas; well-known events include the Jerzy Kusz Regatta. The club also maintains a weather station and a camera page; regatta sponsors include LUMEL S.A., the municipality of Skąpe and LOZŻ.
