Club Náutico Dos Mares
Club Náutico Dos Mares is a private sports club on La Manga del Mar Menor in Murcia, strategically located between the calm Mar Menor and the Mediterranean Sea. The modern marina offers berths for boats of different sizes, 24-hour harbour assistance, plus a restaurant and sports facilities including an Olympic swimming pool, tennis and padel courts. A sailing school, regattas and a wide range of water sports cater to members and visitors. Founded in 1968 to promote maritime culture and water sports, the club combines harbour operations, dining and club life on Spain’s Mediterranean coast.
History
Club Náutico Dos Mares was founded in 1968 as a private sports association to foster culture and sporting activities that use the sea as their medium. On its strategic site between the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean, a modern marina was developed with berths for a wide range of craft, from small motorboats to larger yachts. The harbour was planned so that manoeuvring areas ease arrivals and departures, with security and surveillance around the clock. Alongside the marina, the club built sports infrastructure: an Olympic pool, tennis and padel courts, and opportunities for swimming and sailing. A sea-view restaurant with terrace complements the offer for members and guests. Regattas feature in the sporting calendar; the IV Trofeo Isla del Barón in October 2023 marked the season’s close with prize-giving and supporting events. Today the club presents itself as a complete venue for harbour, sport and Mediterranean dining on La Manga.
